Bellmere is a residential suburb in its eastern part and rural countryside elsewhere, immediately west of Caboolture. It is bounded on the east and south by the Caboolture River, and extends about 9 km west to Wamuran. Its northern boundary is the Wamuran Creek. A State primary school functioned from 1913 to 1936.
Bellmere is a dormitory suburb to Caboolture (shopping and railway station) and Morayfield (free-standing highway shopping centres). Schools, government and private, are also found in these suburbs. Bellmere has developed since the mid-1990s.
