Ormeau Hills

Ormeau Hills is a residential suburb adjoining the Pacific Motorway about midway between Beenleigh and Sanctuary Cove, 48 km south-east of central Brisbane.

Until 2003, when Ormeau Hills was formally named, it was part of Ormeau, a much larger suburb on the Pacific Highway extending north from the Pimpama River to Yatala. 'Ormeau' was a sugar plantation (1871) in the former farm district.
