Brighton

Brighton, a coastal suburb, is 19 km north of central Brisbane and immediately north of Sandgate. It faces Bramble Bay, which is crossed by the heritage-listed Hornibrook Highway (1935) to Redcliffe. Brighton's northern shoreline is mangrove wetland, partly reclaimed in the 1930s, and its western boundary is Bald Hills Creek.
